Specific project-orientation in a multi-site development environment. This is our everyday life. Siemens Information and Communication (ICM) products are developed in more countries. The way of co-operating often varies. One of the development sites may have the overall responsibility for the project, whereas other sites contribute with the development of sub-projects or technologies forming part of the entire project. We have 2 kinds of development projects: Product projects covering the entire development process of a product and modular projects covering the development of individual modules to be used in different product families. We work in matrix groups with special focus on software development, hardware development, mechanical development and electronic data processing. It is very important for us that our new employees are well integrated – no matter whether they are Danish or foreigners. Therefore, all new employees go through an introduction course in order to come to know us. We offer internal and external educational courses with professional and personal development. We have our own lecture room with course/conference facilities. |
